Complementing eyebrows in 2020 is the new normal. Since my profession is in the beauty industry, I talk to women about their brows ALL the time. We talk about microblading, shading, makeup products, waxing, plucking, you name it!
Growing up, I used to be self conscious about my bushy brows. I was brow envious of my friends with thin feminine brows. However, ever since “Instagram brows” became a thing I have learned to fully embrace what I got going’ on.
And after years of trial and error, I finally have the products narrowed down to exactly the way I like them, and feel most confident!
For growth – I recommend castor oil. My favorite one that I use is from amazon. It’s a thicker oil so you don’t need much and the product should last you a long time.
One low maintenance way that I usually wear my brows during the week is using gel to hold them in place. One of my favorite clear gels is from ELF. I find that this product holds them in place, but doesn’t look unnatural. Plus, guys, it’s TWO dollars!
For more of a glam makeup look, Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Pomade is where it’s AT! I’ve been using this product since I was 15. It goes on smoothly and stays on all day/night.
For a cheaper alternative, I love the NYX brow pencils. They glide on softly and never make harsh lines.
